Bolanle Oduntan

‘Bola leads the Corporate and Commercial Law and Information Technology law practice groups. His early career was invested in legal work in the corporate, commercial and dispute resolution practice groups. As an associate counsel he advised on several high-profile LNG projects and pioneer commercial briefs in the automotive sector.
Bolanle has advised and provided legal support to start-ups such as, Nigerian beauty start-up company Podozi and; Factor(E) Ventures Ltd (a US base venture fund) in its investment in agricultural solutions company Coldhubs, through their respective Seed and Series A funding
rounds. He has successfully represented both foreign investors and investee companies in Seed and Series A funding rounds.
Bolanle is a board room advisor. He provides company secretarial and board support services to private and publicly listed companies, advising boards and board committees on corporate governance implementation and best practices from time to time. Bolanle’s experience also extends to broadcasting where he advised on the acquisition of technical broadcast capacity, content aggregation, content acquisition, and distribution within the entertainment industry.
Bolanle also has in-house legal experience in the agricultural sector. His understanding of the agricultural value chain has seen him advise large and small companies in the agricultural, agro-impute, and FMCG sectors, advising on acquisitions, consolidations and business sustainability strategies within the industry.
He is a corporate and transaction counsel and holds membership of several professional bodies. He is a member and candidate of the Chartered Global Investment Analyst Institute (CGIA Institute), an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) Nigeria, a
member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), a member of the Young International Arbitration Group of the London Court of International Arbitration, and a member of the Young ICCA of the International Council for Commercial Arbitration among others.
